I haven't taken an NBME test yet and was wondering if they give you explanations to the answers you got wrong or at least provide an answer key? If not, is it better to just do UW and Kaplan if you only have 3 weeks left to study and haven't been over all of the material yet? Thanks!

    no explanations and no key.

I dont know if it is better or not to just do Kaplan and Uworld but I figure it is best to get an idea of what the test is like. I am doing questions each night from question banks and I took one NBME for a base line, I am taking another one midway through and the free 150 one week before

  4. Do they just give you a score or do they break it down by subject areas?

Is there a legitimate reason for the answer key not being provided?

    Probably not.
