do the schools get our score at the time?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Yeah, I think my school posts a list up on a wall in the student room every week assuming they have a score to put up

Our dean told us that on Wednesdays, the scores are updated on the USMLE website. He logs on and retrieves whatever scores that have come in and then notifies us if we want out score.

Kinda scary hearing your score first from the dean...especially if you failed 🙁

i think that for the comlex,at least at our school the nbome mails the scores to the students first then the scores are mailed to the deans..thats what someone told me at our school..i could be wrong..i dont think id want to find out from my dean

I'm pretty sure your school gets your scores UNLESS you indicated on the Step application that you didn't want them released. I don't know for sure but I think this is how it works

Our secretary said that she gets the scores on Wednesday about 3-4 weeks after you take the exam which usually winds up being only a couple of days before we will get them in the mail. If the scores are delayed coming to us they will be delayed coming to the medschool.

Your school shouldnt get your scores unless you released them on your initial application.
