Do these schools allow retaking classes?

Hello everyone.

I was looking at East Carolina University and Elon, and was trying to figure out if they allow you to replace prereq grades with those that I have retaken.

I sent out some emails to both departments last week, but haven't heard back yet.

I am not sure about East Carolina University but according to Elon's page on PTCAS they will use the higher grade when calculating pre-requistie GPA. Here is the link..http://www.ptcas.org/ptcas/public/Listing.aspx?seqn=374&navid=10737426784

I actually found out the Elon one on my own, but still couldn't find anything about EC.

EC never returned my email. Not sure if they got it or not. It seems like all the East coast schools just replace the grades with the higher one if you retake it.

EC's tuition and the cost of living in the surrounding area keeps wanting to bump MUSC down from my first choice.
