I'm taking chem 1 right now and the professor is slow ( we have 6 weeks of class left and we just started Gases). I'm registered for chem 2 in the summer but I don't think the professor will get to the chapter 12 which is where we are supposed to stop. Say we get to chapter 8 or 9, will I be at a disadvantage for not knowing up to chapter 12 for chem 2? I mean I can self study during the gap between spring ending and summer classes beginning but I'm just wondering.
Do they overlap?
