I am just wondering how many of you guys here continue to contact the programs that you like after you have interviewed with them. Of course writing the PD and all of the people who played a part in your interview is a given.
But what I mean is....do you call and email the faculty and residents you interviewed and interacted with to maintain the appearance that you are very interested in there program?
It seems like a lot of work to call them and email them and remember(well i write it down) who you asked what so you don't ask the same person the same question again. And try to contact 3 or 4 of the people at that one singleprogram and than repeat this again for the other programs.
I've done a little of this. Just wondering how many of the other applicants do this? And does it really help you out when they consider how to rank you?
