Do US-IMGs in most countries need to worry about greenbook rotations?

I'm a U.S.-IMG student; I study at a top school in China (Approved by IMED-FAIMER, WHO, Avicenna. Ok by all 50 states. especially on the CA list, and NY, TX, FL.)

Do US-IMGs need to worry about greenbook/bluebook? Or if I get ECFMG certificate, can apply to all states? My school owns 4 hospitals, and is affiliated with 18 more. ACGME sure can't regulate the 22.

I only know greenbook: that the hospital needs a same-specialty residency by ACGME: if doing IM at the hospital, the hospital needs to have IM residency. I also hear the "umbrella?/ umbrella residency" term, if the hospital only has FM, it may cover IM, EM, psych etc rotations.

I plan to get USCE (elective rotations) and US LOR(s). Cores will most likely be done @ China, but my school may also sponsor some cores in U.S., Europe, Japan.

I'm surprised someone hasn't answered this yet. Yes of course greenbooks matter to the states that require them. I forget which ones care about cores, electives etc, but certain states require cores and some require electives and some require a combo. To my knowledge the umbrella is a false assumption--if you need more info, sree from aua at vmd posts about greenbook requirements.

Thanks for helping. Since my school is ok by 50 states' boards, I want to cast widest net. I know the huge states want greenbook and Texas cares about something called bluebook. The big states are where the most positions are...so don't want to miss out.

But shouldn't my school be automatically considered "greenbook status" right? I thought greenbook is what Caribbean students would really worry (b/c they rotate in USA), and most WHO/IMED ones have their own hospital. How else did the thousands of FMG get here? Most have no US experience.

What if I do all cores (IM, Surg, OBGYN,Ped) in China, and do electives in greenbook U.S., will I be ok by 50 states? If some (or most) of mine is not greenbook, what's the worst?

I also wonder why someone hasn't answered this, but now I know. sree from aua is the expert in this area.

Thanks. For the sake of other foreign students: I understand all IMGs need to know greenbook, bluebook, etc, not just caribbean. The caribs do get scrutinized more, because they're for-profit schools. OTOH, where one does clerkship at foreign hospitals, due to various reasons, don't seem to get that scrutinized.
