I am starting to study for step 3 COMLEX.
i did not pass USMLE Step 2. I got into a primary care allopathic residency. do i need to re-take USMLE step 2 and take USMLE step 3? Thanks.

no. you will be licensed based on successfully completing the COMLEX series.

USMLE & COMLEX are used for licensure. You will be licensed, so it doesn't matter which set of exams you used to get there.
