Do warnings by campus police from other colleges count as institutional action or similar?

A member of our study group almost got the nerdiest felony imaginable, but I'm glad he didn't. Tonight a group of us (pre meds from different colleges) were studying together and after our group disbanded one guy stayed late, very late, working on his AMCAS application. He was in a common area on our campus next to various eateries when campus police asked for his ID. He was warned that the building had locked since he arrived and warned that he could be charged with a felony, breaking and entering even though he arrived with us through an unlocked door earlier. The police put his name in their system as receiving a formal warning for trespassing and now he is disallowed from ever coming to our campus again.

What can be done about this? Should this be reported on his application?

Lol as long as he doesn't show his interviewers the bruise from a slap on his hand he should be fine.

An "almost felony" and a "formal warning from a visited college" are not specified as requiring commentary on any application I've heard of.

Sounds like your campus police are uptight ***** tbh. And nah dont mention it on app its all gud.

Yeah, they've had problems with homeless people stealing from campus. I was surprised that he got banned from campus after showing an out of state drivers license and explaining why he was there.
