Do we classify shadowing as "healthcare experience" on AACOMAS?

I know on AMCAS, shadowing is its own separate category. AACOMAS is making me choose between:
1) Extracurricular Activity
2) Non-Healthcare Volunteering/Community Enrichment
3) Non-Healthcare Employment
4) Healthcare experience

I know for some professional schools, patient contact is required for something to be considered healthcare experience. What about for DO schools?

I would be inclined to say Healthcsre Experience. It wouldn't really fit into any of the other categories. I don't have any experience with AACOMAS (yet) but this is my guess. Might want to have someone more experienced verify.

I put mine under Healthcare Experience last year and I didn't have any issues, OP!
