Hi!
I have an interview coming up soon. So I had a mock interview today and I got so nervous that my entire mouth was dry LOL.
Do we get water during interviews? And where do interviews take place? I know it is at the school, but is it at the faculty's office usually?

Yeah most places will give you water.

Interviews are usually in someones office or just some random room.

this might be the single more neurotic post I have EVER seen on SDN. And I have been frequenting these boards for more than half a decade.

Bring a bottle of water. No one will question you or shun you for it.

interviews mostly take place in
1. the interviewers office
2. random offices close to the conference room the day starts out in
3. department where interviewer works.

Similar to some ds interviews as compared with my pre-allo friends beyond SDN, you may encounter places where refreshments or continental breakfast consisting of basic fare e.g. coffee, muffins, and yes, water; are provided courtesy of the interviewing school. And this time you may actually get to keep the bottle as a souvenir.🙂 Curse Frontier for their lousy customer services.😡 There is nothing wrong with carrying water to the interview(s). What if you're on medication? (remember ADA?)

You may get a screen at Georgetown.
:meanie:

I've always brought a bottle of water with me (kept in my bag) to interviews, taking a drink a few times during the interview, and have never thought anything of it. Is it uncommon or something?

The paranoia is rubbing off on me.
