Do we have to do ray-tracing stuff on the mcat?

Ray tracing is listed on the PS content outline, but I would not expect to be asked to distinguish between different principal rays (i.e. I wouldn't memorize them for that sake). You should be prepared to construct a ray diagram if you need to in order to predict image location/orientation/size, but it's more efficient to gain an intuitive grasp of those features based on object position and optical element (converging vs diverging lens/mirror) so as to avoid needing to draw it out.
