Do we need to get 300/ 400 to pass ?? Or how do they scale for 75 %

I was just going through one of the website where they have put up that they scale our score between 49 to 99 ... So that means 300/ 400 .. Or else it depends on the evaluator ... My doubt is how much should be my score out of 400 to pass ??? Can plz any one tell me

If you are talking about Part 1, all you need is about a 60-65%. This would be 240-260/400 correct. The percentage and raw number correct to pass vary depending on difficulty of your exact test; harder will require less correct (towards the 240 range) to pass.

The 75 you mentioned as a pass is some BS scaled score that doesn't apply to us anymore. It does not mean 75% needed to pass or anything like that.

Are you seriously saying .... Are you sure... ??? If so. ... Then let me tell u m just made my day .. Ufooo such a relief ... Coz I was just scoring around 65 -75 in each subject in asda ... So I thought I should get 75 in each of them so that I can get 300 as total out of 400 To pass my part 1 ...
So if get around 240 to 260 correct answers out of 400 then I can clear my part 1 right !!

Yes I'm talking about NBDE part one and yes I'm being serious. I don't get on here to try and screw people over.

And you don't need to score well in any particular section. You just need to get a cumulative score of 240-260.
