Does anyone know if we need to memorize these rules? Or are they there just to make a point (talking about Kaplan). There is so much to this rule dang it! Let me know SDNers!

yes, know them. I've seen them in several practice exams. There is a mnemonic that I remember reading on an old SDN thread that you can google search. IT's something like Cashn' Gia, lol. C is for chlorate, a acetate, s sulfate, h halogens, GIA group 1 metals. Those are all soluble. look it up, it might help!🙂

know those for sure! Just know and understand everything in Kaplan along with other materials if you want to do well. Good luck🙂
