Do we need to release our Step 2 CK scores by tomorrow?

Many of us took Step 2 CK later and therefore our scores were not released immediately. Do we need to release our scores by tomorrow or do we just need to release them prior to the start of residency?

Unless programs specifically asked for them, you do not need to release them. You might not need to release them at all -- not all programs / states will need them for a training license.

does this look slightly sketchy to the programs involved? my home IM program said it did but they IMG heavy so I'm guessing thing are weighed differently.

Most programs that I applied to with the exception of one required Step scores. It probably will depend on specialty. Like mentioned above, institutions and states have different requirements. If you go to the GME site of the programs you applied to, they might state in contract that employment is contingent on passing USMLE Step 1 and 2 or something like that.

Programs might not be downloading much anymore on ERAS since the list closed, but as long as you have the scores, you can also get them a transcript after you match!
