Do we receive financial aid in DS?

I really an unaware about this aspect of dental school but do we get financial aid at all??

Im going to a public university right now and financial aid is covering my tuition. So with family income so low, would we get any aid when we are in dental school or do we solely rely on loans?

I don't think so... its going to be 99% loans with big interest rates, lowest being 5% (for that special parents loans ~ but its only 8000 a year *sigh*). Then they range from 6.8 to 7.9%

Avg debt from SDN users is $300K-$400K. yiiiikes. Trying to keep mine below 250K but with a baby on the way, it looks like I will be pulling from the GRADplus loan pot (the one with 7.8%) here pretty soon...
