Do you contact the schools if they haven't responded yet?

What are you supposed to do if the some schools have not yet responded at all? do you call and if so what do you ask? I dont want to say anything stupid like why didn't you invite me for an interview yet!!? lol So what would be the polite and appropriate way of asking? if you even ask at all?

You could e-mail and ask if they are still sending out responses still. If so, at what date you should contact them if you haven't received anything by that date.

politely? i guess: "I was wondering if the school has received my application" and they will ask you your name and blah blah. If they received your application and that's where the conversation ends...its most likely you haven't been selected for an interview yet.

Good luck!!

I think it's completely justified. Shows you're interested as well. Be professional and polite, but don't let that get in the way of saying what you want to say or make your situation seem less urgent. Hope that makes sense.

This!

E-mail works best...it gives the person responding time to pull your file and see what is going on.

I actually emailed one of the schools a week ago and they still didnt respond!!

That is horrific. I don't like answering those e-mails or phone calls, but it goes with the job. You can't just ignore them.

Accounting for the slight chance that they didn't your first message, send it again. If you don't hear again this time...it speaks to the way the program treats all applicants.

Do share how this turns out!
