I'm more questioning whether non-business days are used in scoring your exam. If not then I might use the extra few days to study but if so then I might opt for the earlier date.
From my experience, tests taken after wednesday were released 1 week after tests taken before wednesday of the same week. For example, I took CK on 10/13 (monday) and my friend took it 10/10 (Friday) and we got our scores the same day (11/5)
interesting. I saw an old thread on another forum that said otherwise but I'll stick with your anecdote as a possibility of it not really mattering. Thanks.

Yeah, I had the impression if you take it Mon or Tues, you'd need to wait 4 Wednesdays, whereas if you take it Wed-Fri, the wait is just 3 Wednesdays. But who knows. With holiday delays, etc., the USMLE can release them whenever they please. But yet again, I had taken my Step 1 on a Friday in mid-December 2012 and had to wait FIVE Wednesdays to get my score. So IMdoc2015 could be right.
