Do you guys separate your anki or flashcard decks by section when you study (for MCAT)?

Not sure what is the common practice for those of you who use flashcards. I am torn between separating the decks (separate CP, B/B, PsS decks) and mixing the cards together.

I feel like mixing the cards together will yield more comprehensive review and prevent neglecting of certain subjects. But then again, you may get jumbled thinking by mixing them all together.

If you'd had success using flash cards or anki to study for the MCAT, please chime in!

I wouldn't mix everything. I just say that bc the way things are approached in one section is completely different from what they're asking about the same topic in another section.
But consider mixing and making cards that you can mix with the other concepts within a section.

I mix everything together because it's easier for me to cover all subjects at once in the same deck, than to have to go through four decks separately every day. To cut down on confusion (especially because there are some terms that are used in different contexts), you can create a field in your cards that displays all of your tags. Sometimes I also put broad topics in bold at the top of the card. For example, I have 4 cards that cover what happens during each stage of muscle contraction. At the top of all of these cards is Muscle Contraction so I can easily see what the card is asking about.
