do you have labs for your microbiology classes?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
We have histo lab. It is unusual though. Instead of using slides directly they hired someone to scan "the best" slides as digital images and now we look at the structures on computers rather than through microscopes. I like it. Though some of the slides are crap and need to be replaced. It is my school's first year on this system though. They say it will be better next year. But I think they are going to be too lazy to find better slides.
I swear my profs are the laziest people alive. Does anyone else feel that their professors do below the bare minimum?

So far we don't have any micro labs. I say thank goodness because there is only so much time to study, I'm glad I don't have to waste more of it in lab.

Anatomy lab on the other hand is vital

we have like 5 of them in the spring when it comes time to learn the techniques for staining and such of bacteria.

We had ~8 microbiology labs, we performed a range of tests such as the oxidase test, gram stain, antigen, etc. to identify the unknowns. It was an easy 5% of your grade.

For histology, we probably had about 20 labs with a microscope and maybe 70 total slides to identify in practical exams. This was 40% of your grade.

We didn't have any real lab for pathology..they give did us the option to watch autopsies though. We have had a photographic exam part for path.
