Can anyone tell me if an LOR from a DO is required to apply to DO schools?

Most DO schools don't require that you have a letter from a DO (although it is highly recommended). About the only ones that I can think of the absolutely require a letter from a DO are: LECOM, WVSOM, NSU, and VCOM. There may be others, I just can't think of them right now 🙂 .

CCOM also requires a DO LOR, i believe.

Even if they don't require it, it helps. It really Helps. Do, get one. The schools that don't require it strongly recommend it.

Also, I wanted to add OSU-COM to the list of schools that requires a DO letter.
