Do you HAVE TO live in a dorm?

[Intrepidation]

Everyone talks of their roomate, or being active in student councils and such. Well currently im only a pre-med, but is it required to live in a dorm during medical school? The reason i asked is that i am planning on getting married next summer, and living in a dorm atmosphere kind of hampers our living conditions. If i must live in a dorm for it's closeness tot he campus, is it possible for me to get a private one i could share with my wife?

As far as I know, you're on your own about living conditions in medical school.... I know some offer dormitory like places.... but I'm sure you have all the option to say yay or nay....
