Look at it this way: The base fee to submit to AMCAS and get transcripts verified includes an application sent out to one school. Just don't fill out the Secondary application and pay the fee for that.

Also, I attended the conference as both someone who presented and also someone who went to other posters.... what should I do with the number of hours for the experience (hours spent on poster/presentation + hours spent at the conference?).

1) The PI.

2) The hours for the Posters space should be the hours you stood in front of it at the conference presenting it. Prep time belongs in the affiliated Research space. No one cares how many hours you spent attending conference talks, so don't include them.
