Do you know what a D.O. is

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
that's easy a D.O. stands for doctor of optometry and you look at eyes and stuff. even my 15 year old son knows that.

You're joking right? I'm starting to think you're a troll. You were the same person who said the girl from the 'is this rehearsed' video was ugly... or I guess your terminology was 'beat'. So why should we believe you're mature enough to have a 15 year old son?

O.D.(Doctor of Optometry)
a bit different.

Just for the record for most/all health care professionals in no particular order:

M.D. = Doctor of Medicine (allopathic)
D.O. = Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
PharmD = Doctor of Pharmacy
RPh = Registered Pharmacist
O.D. = Doctor of Optometry
D.D.S. = Doctor of Dental Surgery
J.D. = Juris Doctor (lawyer degree)
R.N. = Registered Nurse
N.P. = Nurse Practitioner
P.A. = Physician's Assistant
D.M.D. = Doctor of Dental Medicine
D.P.M. = Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
D.P.T. = Doctor of Physical Therapy
D.V.M. = Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
PhD = Doctor of Philosophy

If anyone can think of anymore, feel free to add to the list.

I believe a better question is why I should care whether you believed i was mature enough to have a 15 year old son. Whether or not I'm joking is up to you. Not sure why you're so upset. Perhaps look into having a sense of humor though, or at least a sense of sarcasm. I apologize if calling a random girl "beat" was offensive to you, but such was my opinion.

Nope not offended by that... you can say whatever you want... I was just wondering if my sarcasm meter was broken because I was really hoping that it wasn't. I hoped you were joking but I had to ask.

Well, I'm totally assuming here, but he's young and that accounts for the "Damn it, I'm right!" mentality.

Perhaps, before it comes time for him to apply to schools, he'll get some experience and life under his belt and can open his eyes a bit. Refer him to SDN next time you see him, maybe. Although you can lead a horse to water, you can't make him drink... you should at least try!

I like how you reason, but trust me, even a collected person like you will get angry with his lack of a will to understand.
