Do you loose points if you get unnecessary consults?

I notice that CSS in UWORLD sometimes expects you to get consult for things you can easily manage on the general service (ie. septic arthritis with no complication and they want an ortho consult).

Is that because they really want you to?

Also, do you loose points if you forget to order discontinuing things?
Ie. those stupid ox sat, IV access, etc....

Normally we don't need to do that in real life. This thing is getting more annoying.
