Do you need to list specific shadowing dates, or will the range suffice?

Is there a need to list the specific dates that you shadowed on your primary application? When you enter an event in the work and activities section of the AMCAS application, it allows you to select the starting and ending month and year and the total number of hours, but does not allow you to enter specific dates.

So, if I shadowed a physician for a total of 30 hours between February and March of the same year, do I need to list the specific dates in the description, or will the general 02/16-03/16, 30 total hours that is in the header information be enough? I do not want to waste valuable characters including unnecessary information in the description. Will they care whether the shadowing was done in three 10 hour days versus six 5 hour days, or three 8's and one 6?
