Hi! I'm currently a post-bac at the NIMH and I was wondering if anyone has any recent experience with shadowing at the Clinical Center or other departments. I've cold e-mailed a couple of doctors but haven't been successful at getting any responses yet. My lab unfortunately isn't a clinical lab, so there aren't any MDs in my lab that I can directly ask. Does anyone know of any doctors at NIH currently that have allowed post-bacs to shadow them? Thank you!

You can go to weekly UDP rounds, I know others who have listed those as shadowing on their apps and haven't had problems.

Edit: you could also check out Suburban Hospital across the street

Omg yes I forgot to mention this in my original post! I used to go attend them, but my PI started scheduling our weekly lab meetings during UDP round times, so I can no longer attend ): Thank you for mentioning Suburban! I'll check them out!
