Do you support Dental School Class-cest?

I dont know dude...there are a couple of girls in my school I wouldnt mind hooking up with, but the whole dental-school-cest issues always makes me step back from making a move, but Ive been close.

First of all, what if I get rejected....I will still have to see this person constantly for the next 2-3 years and it would just be awkward.

Also, do I really want to date a dentist? Geez, the last thing I wanna do after dental school is talk about dental school

WHo knows, maybe alcohol will change this all one night in the future.... :hardy:

you do make a very good point. There are some really good looking girls in my class that I have been contemplating to ask out, but the very fact that I will have to see this person for another couple of years is definitely not a good thing 😀 :meanie:

I'm talking to 2 people in my class; but I'm not going going to go anywhere with it.

Normally I'd have no problem, but the chance of it working out for 4 years is pretty much 0, so I'd just rather not have the drama.

That's why you just keep it on the down low... no strings attatched.

i voted yes, but that is a hypothetical answer. the she-dentists at my school are fugly or have a "man back home." but the she-dentists i've met from other schools aren't too shabby.
in regards to not wanting to talk shop outside of school, do you think too many non-dental students would put up with the constant bitching that comes with thhe 2nd yr?

Yes, but remember, if you really like her you may see her for the rest of your life. Marriage...... I'm engaged to a girl from the class above me (yes I went for the older more experienced female), and it was fine. But at my school, there were never really any class barriers all the students whether freshman or senior partied together, we just never had class together.

My take is that you should date another dental student in the class above you so that you can get free books.🙂

Not only in dentistry, but in general: I couldn't stand someone who only talks about their job out of work. You date the person, not their job.

We have a couple in our class, allready, and they're hillarious. They have a very good relationship, but I would never, ever, get with a girl in my class....just because there aren't any super-model types running around.

But you know that if there were, you would be up in there in a second.

Well, my fiancee (wife, in five weeks!) has been putting up with it for a full semester of second year, and a full year prior to that. So, uh, "yes." 😀

5 weeks already? Time sure does pass, I remember when you posted the picture of the ring before you had popped the big question. Congrats! 👍

All I can say is DDI, ......... Dual Dental Income  :hardy: 😀

that will be nice, but my girlfriend and I will have DDL,......dual dental loans when we're done. 😱

we dated for two years prior to dental school so does that count as dental school class-cess?

there are two couples in my class and both couples were together before dental school started. they seem to be doing great! I'm actually dating a girl that is in second year (we are the same age, she got into dental school after her third year). We are getting along quite nicely.

What better way to deal with DDL than DDI 😉 Or if you're really both driven you could have DDSI = Dual Dental Specialist Income :wow: Then the DDL's become non issues

It's a risk and can go either way (get along great all throughout dental school or break up in the middle somewhere 🙁) I actually know someone who's b/f (same class as she is in) broke up with her, a month before the part II's 😱 Kinda sucks cause he doesn't seem to want to talk to her anymore, AND now they have to see each other all the time 🙁

It can definitely go either way. We have a couple in my class who met our first year and are getting married soon. We also have 3 couples who didn't work out in our class, and it's kind of dramatic at times. Best of all, we have one girls who'd dated four, yes, four guys in our class. We only have 23 male students. The one she's dating now actually dated another in our class too. My class has the juices flowing.
