I love the results to this poll. Everyone thinks that everyone else is arrogant. I think you're arrogant (yes, YOU!), and you should be more humble like I am 😉 I may even teach some of you to be as humble as myself one day if I feel like it.

They were my top choice, I hear the faculty at princeton-plainsboro hospital have an extreme commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and stress the important of biomedical ethics in modern medical practice.

Not just "a bit" but "very" arrogant, I believe. I also noticed that many SDN premeds seem to think they are so smart.

I think 80% of the developed world is pretty arrogant...we all think that we're the s*** and that we actually matter in the world...

but I think you're asking the wrong question...it should have been "do you think the average SDN'er is neurotic?"

Truth. Not only are most internet people arrogant, I find most premeds to be arrogant, and, in fact, most science majors in general to be arrogant.

Just wait until you see it from our perspective. There's a reason why medical students give pre-med's a hard time, and it's because they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. I love medical school (MS2 atm), but that doesn't mean that I knew what it was going to be like. The workload is insane, there is no downtime, and each test brings a new round of anxiety.

Take Ochem 1 and 2 in 5-6 weeks, and you'll know what is medical school is like. While that might simulate the amount of information, we continue to do it for 20 straight months (academic time), with no breaks worth talking about.

Our dean said it best during orientation... "Congratulations on all of your accomplishments thus far (academically), but remember... you haven't done anything yet. You are just now getting started, and nothing that you have done will make a difference on where you are going. You are starting from ground one.

Pre-Med
Pre-Other Professional fields
Math
Chemistry
Biology
Rest of Non-Science Majors/Science Majors I missed


From what I experienced, if you mention that your an engineer the pre med feels like crap, and if pre med majors he is pre med, the math majors field bad, and so on. lol

👍 I mean since a lot of people on here don't have actual friends and/or get any booty, its a way of relieving their frustration I guess.

bleargh is my favorite.

On a different note, my boyfriend is an engineer. Together we are The Most Interesting Couple in the World. Sometimes our relationship feels a little unbalanced though. Maybe it's because hierarchically, he's more arrogant that I am.
