I indicated on AMCAS that i'm a Natural Science major, however, although i've been following that program, i realized that i haven't officially designated that ( i'm a recent transfer). So, my transcript will say undecided. do you think that will cause a major problem or will it just slide through? also, i got the form and will fill it out tomorrow, so if there is a problem, do you think a call from the dean to amcas will suffice? thanks for your advice.

you should start looking at DO

i was wondering if this will cause a DELAY. that's all. i wasn't implying that the sky was falling. thanks for the snide remark though. i appreciate it.

for what it's worth, i indicated that i was a chemistry minor on my amcas, even though it is not yet officially declared on my transcript.

amcas went through without a hitch.

I doubt it. AMCAS is a huge company that sees thousands of applications. If they see that error, I think they would simply contact you to ask you what's up. In that case, your application would only be delayed a couple of days. But the odds of them finding that are low. Just explain it to schools during your interview. It's not like you did it on purpose. I made the mistake of sending in my official transcript without the Spring 2003 grades on it. Opps! When I called AMCAS about this, I talked to a director. She told me that it's not a priority issue, simply explain it to schools in your secondaries or interview. If that's the reason that a school rejects you, you probably didn't want to go to that school in the first place.

thanks alot for the answers guys (especially since they were the ones i was hoping to hear 😀 ).
