I write in the margins/highlight in all of my mcat books. I dont care about reselling them later on, is that a bad idea?

Do most people write in a notebook or spiral?

I don't write in them because 1) I hate taking notes while reading because it takes away from my understanding of it 2) The re sale value of the books matter to me 😀

I underline stuff I think is important in the chapter while I'm reading through, then I go back and write all that stuff down while reading through again, and checking to make sure the stuff around the underlined portions isnt important. If I find it helps my understanding, I write that too. Then I go to my finished notes, read for full comprehension, and recite them while only glancing at the page to keep track of where I am, then I rewrite them without looking.

Its a long process, but you use EK the physics explanations are concise enough that it doesnt kill all your study time.

No because

1. I wanna make back some $$$ from my books
2. Taking notes in a notebook helps me remember much better and reading my crappy convoluted handwriting is still more helpful than going through 50 pages of TBR chapters 3 times
3. EK Bio is great but very packed with material, and I find it helps to take detailed notes on their chapters to get the most out of them, especially on topics that I haven't had in great detail before
