I've got a School of Medicine license plate holder that has gotten me out of one ticket. No tickets since graduation so far.

It was pointed out to me by someone with bad experience that you should NEVER have your car be visibly identifiable as being associated with you being a doctor, people will see dollars signs if a traffic incident happens, or they may even try to stage one. People don't know med students and residents are broke. Dr. = $ to many people.
