So, I just interviewed yesterday, and found out that a doctor I shadowed is on the admissions committee at that school after talking about my different clinical experience with my interviewer. It's been about a year since I talked/contacted this doctor as I shadowed this doctor last winter break. Is there any way to sway this relationship in my favor after the interview.

I think its already in your favor that you shadowed with one of the adcom members. However, don't name drop too much. It may be worth while to send a note or email to that individual letting her or him know that you just found out that he/she was on the adcom and would like to re-express your interest in the school and thank them again for the opportunity to shadow. Maybe emphasize how that shadowing helped to reinforce to you that this was the right career choice. Some schools may frown on directly contacting members, so be carefull. But even if you did nothing I think you are at an advantage. So don't sweat it. Good luck!

I wouldn't do anything. It's been more than a year and he'll figure out you're trying to sway the adcom decision if you just contact him now.
