Yes, I'm glad that the doctor sued back.
What she wrote IS libel. She has no way of proving that they are deliberately trying to scam her. No, they did not bill it as a preventative visit - likely because it was NOT one. I cannot count the number of times that I have had patients demand that I bill it as a preventative visit (because preventative visits have a $0 co-pay, where as sick visits have a co-pay), even though they present with a laundry list of problems and questions and refuse to do any basic screening tests (like a pap or mammogram or colonoscopy).
