Hey everyone,

I am debating on if I should purchase the Doctor's In Training program. I am at a D.O. school and am interested in orthopedic surgery so my chances at getting into an M.D. program are slim. Hence, I am thinking of just take the COMLEX.

Anyways, Doctor's In Training came to our school today and gave their speech about why their program is worth $770, but I want first hand experience.

If you used their program:

1. If you don't mind sharing what was your score? Or if you don't want to tell your score, did you score where you want to? Meaning, was it worth it?

2. What did you think of the program? Was it worth the $770?

Any tips or thoughts would be greatly appreciated before I drop that kind of cash.

Thanks,

Nick

DIT is amazing in my opinion. I was scoring just around 425 with COMSAE and my schools practice tests and then I spent a month doing DIT, memorizing drugs and bugs and doing COMBANK (which is a must) and I got a 515 on my COMLEX so I would say it is worth it.

i thought it was useful as well. but it wasn't the only resource i used, i used it during the last 3-4 weeks to reinforce concepts, so it was a little redundant. they did do a good job of helping me memorize/hammer down concepts that i was having trouble on though.

240/99 and 607/90, meeting my goals for both exams.

It's ok. If you look around you'll see a thread about it from this past year...with a lot of complaints. Some of their lecturers really stink and they dubbed a lot if it over from last year to change the page numbers (meaning they were so lazy they couldn't be bothered to film Dr. Jenkins standing at podium and lecturing for the 2011 cycle).

I would use DIT only if you have trouble getting through subject material you hate. They definitely will drag your butt through the stuff you don't like, which can be a good thing.
