Have y'all seen this madness yet?

$40 and they'll examine you over iOS or Android phone/tablet. I imagine this is one day going to be seen as the "pharmacy drive thru window" moment of primary medicine.

If it wasn't for getting free Minute Clinic visits, I'd be all over this all day for minor crap.

While there seems to be little practicality in actially diagnosing diseases, there is potential to triage and consult patients. The provider can recommend medications and refer the patient to a physician as necessary, similar to how pharmacists counsel in community pharmacies.

😆🤣

Definitely gotta agree with WVU though...drive-thru moment for primary care right here.

Listed on the site are a few reasons why you could use it...one is for a UTI.

"Ok, we just need to collect a urine sample, so if I could get you to pee on your iPhone for me. Yeah, just right on the screen there."

That's a little optimistic when you're paying 40 bucks...heck, my copay for a seeing a doctor in person is less than that. And if you don't have insurance, you definitely don't want to pay 40 bucks for triage. But that may be the exact thing that this app is doing - swindling folks out of their money for a little OTC or "go see a doctor" advice...

more than likely all the doctor is going to conclude is "go to CVS and buy X OTC" which a pharmacist can recommend for free or "go see your doctor" which a pharmacist can do for free. only one upper is they can prescribe an abx

omgzzz the doctors are trying to take our jobs, hey let's switch since we want to do theirs #jk
