Do schools typically require documented evidence of volunteer work? I have a history of volunteering but never took care to accurately document my hours of volunteer work as I was there to give my time and not benefit. I do have evidence of volunteering, just no letters saying that I volunteered for x amount of hours.

I don't think you need "documentation" for schools using OTCAS.

Okay. Yeah, I've been using OTCAS and noticed no requirements for uploading documents. It just sucks. Normally I would have requested a letter stating how many hours I had volunteered, but at the time I felt it would have been a conflict of interest. I try not to expect things in return when I give something, such as volunteer time.

Thanks for your response.

None of the schools I applied to required documentation of volunteering. However, credit for any OT-specific setting shadowing/observation/volunteering required a form with the signature of an OTR.
