General Admissions & OTCAS "DOCUMENTS" section on new OTCAS

Hi all,

The documents section on OTCAS allows for documents to be uploaded in order to verify the shadowing hours.( paper with # of hours and therapist signature) The instructions say not all schools require verification of hours. Upon looking at schools I noticed they do not say anything about verifying the hours on Otcas. Is it better to upload the documents anyway? Or does it not matter?

I think it depends on the program; I've definitely seen some schools that require it, but they may have been non-OTCAS. Some people on this forum are uploading their hours into the Documents section regardless. I've even had OTs ask me if they needed to sign any forms for me. However, I decided to include my hours in the Experience section along with contact information for everyone I've shadowed. I've also included that same information on my resume.
