Sorry if this has already been addressed.

Is there a book in Radiology that would remind you of Netter's Anatomy, except using radiology images instead of drawings? I'm looking for essentially a Radiology Atlas that has much more emphasis on pictures than words. I'm looking at going into a residency in internal medicine and want to have a resource like this (if one exists) to help me at the very least have a better idea of all the things I'm seeing on a CT, MRI, etc. I'll rely on my clinical readings much more for pathological radiology (this resource would help me more with "normal" radiology).

Thanks for your help.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but I would recommend Learning Radiology. It is an excellent book for beginners and will give you pretty much exactly the background you are looking for as an IM doc. You can check out his website learningradiology.com as a pretty comprehensive sample of what's in the book, as most of it is also online for free. I bought the book and couldn't be more pleased - well written, easy to read, and interesting.

Actually yes, their is a book thats exactly what ur lookin for. Netters makes it, on one page it has a radiology image( ex a sagittal drawing of the thoracic spine) and on the other page it has the imaging version of the same drawing. I would absolutely reccommend it. Just google Netter's radiolgy anatomy and you should be able to find it.

I just came across the book Human Sectional Anatomy, and it looks phenomenal. It's a whole body atlas that integrates gross sections with drawn sections and CT/MRI sections.

How is the section on MR? I feel like I am getting the hang of CT, but MR keeps fooling me lol. And I don't know why, but lateral chest x-rays are still kicking my *****!

The book actually move interchangeably from CT and MRI, and is organized by anatomic regions. But I think the MR sections are great. Instead of having labels on actual MRIs, they have the MRIs redrawn as outlines and have labels on those. IMHO it's much better as having outlines on the images themselves makes it very cluttered. For some reason the Amazon preview has only a very limited selection of pages which don't really show any of these awesome figures. However, if you click on the "Surprise Me!" link on the left-hand side of the Look Inside feature you can arrive at these "hidden" pages.

The best anatomy book ever. I have a PDF version if you would like.
Radiographic Atlas of Skull and Brain Anatomy by massimo gallucci.
