Does AACOMAS ask if you are applying MD?

I was going to apply DO only but I decided to apply to my in-state MD schools as well. My prehealth advisor said it's a bad idea because then AACOMAS will see that I am doing both types of applications, as I have to report that in the application. I questioned him and he replied with "well maybe they changed it." I can't find a field like that anywhere on AACOMAS. ALL HELP APPRECIATED!!!! I'm feeling sick just thinking about it since I don't know what to believe.
 
Alot of people apply to MD and DO at the same time. Just be ready to answer the question in your interviews "Why DO?"

No. We assume that you are, and we don't take it personally.
 
Advisors have so many chances to prove they aren't *****s... unfortunately they aren't very good at taking advantage of opportunity
