Does AACOMAS ask if you are applying MD?

I was going to apply DO only but I decided to apply to my in-state MD schools as well. My prehealth advisor said it's a bad idea because then AACOMAS will see that I am doing both types of applications, as I have to report that in the application. I questioned him and he replied with "well maybe they changed it." I can't find a field like that anywhere on AACOMAS. ALL HELP APPRECIATED!!!! I'm feeling sick just thinking about it since I don't know what to believe.

Alot of people apply to MD and DO at the same time. Just be ready to answer the question in your interviews "Why DO?"
