Does aamc mail the mcat letters that tell you what your exam test date is and some stuff that you have to fill out? I think it also gives the reporting times and the fingerprint and picture stuff.

I'm signed up for the july 13th one and I haven't gotten anything from them in the mail. Its like 3 weeks before the test.

I took the mcat last year (paper) and I remember getting my picture taken too. Like I remember getting the letter with all the stuff like 2 months before the test.

How do you know what to bring then? The prometric testing place doesn't specify if you are allowed or need to bring pencils, scratch paper, water, or food? And also does anyone know if they have the timer running down in front of you as you take the test?

All you are required to bring is a photo ID. They have lockers for you to keep snacks in if you want to. They will provide pencils and scratch paper.

Also make sure your name on the photo ID matches exactly with the name you registered.

I think they also want your signature on the picture ID - so driver's licence or passport is best.
