Does an alcohol related ER visit in my past need to be reported?

So basically one night in my young and dumb days I had too much to drink and passed out. My friends were really worried and took me to the hospital. I wasn't admitted or anything, just observed in the ER. I've been accepted to medical school and on the past medical history forms it says:

"Do you have, or have you ever had, any of the following medical conditions?"
and one of the conditions is "Alcohol or drug use, problem or treatment".

I'm assuming since this was a one time thing and not something I had a real addiction to or treatment for, I don't need to report this? I don't think it's something they can revoke my acceptance for or anything, but I'd rather not put that on my form if it isn't necessary.

Your medical records are private, so even if they did want you to include the incident there would be no legal way for them to find out you were lying.

But that's not even what they're asking about, they want to know if you've ever had an issue with addiction. Which, honestly, even if you did I would never report this because there can be no positive outcome by doing so.

No.

If the question was, "Have you ever been hospitalized due to alcohol use", then I would recommend you put yes. However, that's not what the question asks.

Thanks guys! I didn't want to put no then it come up again and look as if I was lying, but I was thinking it meant more like alcohol addiction too.

Yes

tell everyone

make a T shirt with that on it and wear it every day

ERRRYYYY DAAAAYYYYYY

LOL alcohol use is not a medical condition, otherwise we'd all be ****ed. Abuse/addiction is another story.
