It won't do crap if your main problem is your mcat. You already have a ton of research, so getting a MPH won't really do much for your applicant. You're better off doing the 90 day SDN mcat prep method on the Mcat forum and getting some clinical and non-clinical volunteering down while studying.

Agreed with previous poster. While it may help with residences and stuff way down the line, wont do much for your application if your numbers aren't there.

As high an Mcat score as you can get, preferably a 27 or higher. You can receive help in getting a high mcat score by going to the mcat prep sub-forum of pre-med. You also should shadow a DO and get a letter of recognition from him/her, if you cannot locate a DO some schools will accept an MD letter instead.

how horribly did you do? if you are at a 24 that is close to the informal "cutoff" than it might just bump you over the edge and yes it will help. if you are at a 13 than no way.

but assuming you get your MCAT figured out, shadowing and clinical experience trumps an MPH any day.
