Does annotating First Aid through out the year count as a "first pass?"

So I know at the end of the year I will have 6 weeks to study for the boards, and I plan on doing as many Uworld, FA and Pathoma stuff as I can. But I hear some people do 3 passes of First Aid, with their last pass being during their board study time. Anyone else familiar with this and does this mean they do 2 passes during the year?

It should. You're reading it for the first time so it's a first read-through isn't it?

It's all semantics. A pass is whatever makes a person comfortable that they went through the material. I consider annotating with USMLE Rx a pass.

I still have a hard time understanding how a person can just read that book. I need to get through M2 material before any of that stuff begins coming together. It looks like a series of tubes!
