HI I'm new to this forum. I've applied to 4 schools including UTHSCSA. I haven't receved any calls yet, but I guess it would be helpful if anyone could share their experience with me. please help me!!!!

I have applied to the same school and I think it could be somthing like preclinical work, as in Cl 2 amalgam cutting, crown cuttings. This is what I have percieved but truely speaking I do not know. Even I am trying to find out, but havent got any help as yet

I have applied too. I guess when u get an interview call ,they will let us know about skill exam.

Yes i think when we get the interview call, they'll inform us what to expect for the practicals. hope it's not too tough.

I got an e-mail from Ms Sturm, saying that i had to send notarized copy of dental degree, which i had already send and also i had to send official transcripts. i have only one original transcript with me.

send a notarized copy of ur transcripts in a sealed envelope stamped by ur dental school across the seal,
i did that & my application was accepted.

r u sure we can send a sealed and stamped notarized copy of our transcript? and also can we post it from within US after getting from home country or shud we post it from homecountry to the school directly? thanks in advance.

Yes..u can do it. I just got my transcripts signed and sealed by the university and I sent it to the university from the US.I sent my application separately.An my application is complete.

The university back home just took photocopies of my marksheets,signed and sealed them.No originals.

sorry with a chain of qs but the last doubt pl----shud weve to send a consolidated marksheet of all 4 yrs or four yrs individual marksheets? thanks once again.

I'm facing the same problem. I have multiple copies of my original transcripts, but they are not in a sealed envelope. And my dental school is in India. It's gonna take a long long time for the transcripts to reach here.

I know..it does take considerable time..mine took almost 1.5 months!!
You prbly can ask someone to go and talk to the people at the univerisity and explain your situation and let them know u want it asap.They might ask for more money but its worth it!

i have the same problem. i have my marksheets attested but not degree certificate. if we can attest it here frm the notary then its great. can't go to home country now because its too late. i havn't applied yet but thinking of applying next week to UTHSCSA. is it too late to apply. i did got my nbde scores two days ago. waiting for toefl scores. my application is not yet ready to be sent. i m confused and worried as my scores r not good at all. what is ur stat, just to know myself, whether i m eligible or not. i m still thinking whether to apply or not.

i just wanted to know how you guys did the essay? im kinda going crazy..my essay seems to be disconnected !!

i mean i have a general idea..but still stuck badly (writer's block?) .

im waiting on my scores..so decided to finish the essay..maybe im in too bad a shape AFTER i get the scores 😀

i know we're all competition for each other..i was looking for something general to get me going..any help would be appreciated.
