Does Anybody Get Interviews With Under 3.0gpa?

I was wondering if anybody got any interview invitations

with under 3.0 in gpa or sgpa.

I applied super early since I have 2.8 sgpa..

your DATs are insane..you must have gotten like 2-3 questions wrong on the whole exam. very impressive.

I have a cum 2.77, but I am a non-trad. Since returning to school I have retaken all the prereqs with a 4.0. So far I have 2 interviews.

Make sure the colleges know your name. Call your top 3 and see if they offer tours or advising sessions. Then you can treat these experiences as a mini interview, and your name will have something for them to attach a face with.

If you don't mind me asking, what was your DAT scores? I'm in the same boat. Was not very focused during undergrad and my grades show. I'm almost done with an masters degree and my grad GPA is a 3.96. I'm hoping dental schools will give me a second chance.

3 years dental assisting, 50 hours shadowing on top of that and about 75 hours volunteering. I'm also a TA and I have published research.

ugh.. embarrassing but sci 2.96. cum 3.02. DAT: 22/22/20.

1 interview. should've studied more for the dat.....

~350 hrs of volunteer as dental assistant
now about 40 hrs of work as dental assistant.
no research, but have an extenuating circumstance.
hope this helps. if u dont get in, reapply, but make sure to strengthen ur credentials. be optimistic 🙂
