Does anyone have official Dental school admissions guide? Help needed

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
There wouldn't be any stats for LECOM yet.

And I don't think you can see the number of people with masters who applied. Just the number with masters accepted.

What is that number for UF and NOVA? If you have the book it would help.. thanks!

it's not worth $43.00 to pay for the answer to a simple question... thank you doc toothache

......So if everyone thought like you, then who would buy the book? Don't be a cheap ass, if you think that's a load of money, you are going to have a heart attack once you have to pay for the applications.

Don't be a cheap ass? $43 less wasted is $43 more I have in my pocket for other things... Sorry I know how to save money!

I have the book:

University of Florida: 8 Masters (83 total)
Nova: 22 Masters (114 total)

If I didn't have the admissions book guide, I would have wasted so much money on schools that I had no chance at.

The thing pays for itself imo

Definitely!! My dentist gave me a copy of last years when I started shadowing him and it has helped exponentially more than I expected. If I knew what all it contained I would have bought it way before he even had the chance of giving me a copy.

Does having a masters give you a better chance at admissions?

Usually if your grades for it are top notch. Many people use a masters as a way to show admissions committee they can handle the course load even though they did poorly in undergrad (realizing they wanted to go into dentistry a little too late), so many people with a masters seem to have a 3.7+ GPA for their master's program.
