I am applying for a position in which SPSS experience is necessary. This position involves looking at the efficacy of treatment in both the short and long term, looking at a number of indicators of success including change in weight, cholesterol, diabetes risk factors, emotional health, and communication within the family regarding behavioral health changes. The problem is I have no idea how to use SPSS. I know how to use excel in making graphs, but this wont help. Can anyone recommend a good site that will teach me how to use SPSS for the position I am applying for?

It was definitely a bitch to get used to spss... (i'm a psychobio major)

i used a lot of websites...

for example:

http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/spss/

http://www.ehow.com/how_2173052_use-spss-analyze-data.html

http://data.fas.harvard.edu/projects/SPSS_Tutorial/spsstut.shtml

http://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/How_to_use_SPSS

http://socialwelfare.berkeley.edu/computing/spss/spss_intro.htm

also, a book worth buying:

http://www.amazon.com/SPSS-Survival...=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1235811007&sr=1-2

good luck!

So a job asks for experience with SPSS and you said you have experience with SPSS even though you don't?
