Not in socal, but if you move east at least either hopkins or one of the philly schools (penn?) has a direct postbacc-med school route that might bypass mcats. Good plan for folks mid-career. What worker with spouse and 2 kids has time to study for mcats. Or at least I have heard such through the grapevine.
