I was wondering if the students recently accepted to dental schools would mind sharing their stats (GPA, DAT AA, TS etc.)
I have a degree and an overall gpa of 3.4, science gpa of 3.2 and BCP of 3.5. With DAT AA 17 TS 17 and PAT 19.

Im currently taking some science classes to raise my science gpa, and am retaking the DAT in the summer before reapplying. I know that my science gpa is a little low and that i will probably need 19's accross the board on the DAT for acceptance next year.

Just thought i would get some feedback.

Also does anyone know if dental schools look disfavorably on withdrawl from a course. I have a few W's from a couple of years ago.

Thanks for your input

Of course they do, but there is nothing that can be done about it now. Very few people make it through college with a perfect record, so don't worry about it. W's can be explained. I had plenty, come to think of it...nobody even asked me about any of them.

I have heard they only care if there is a pattern to the W's. If you have a couple of random ones... no biggie. I have a 17 AA and a 19 Sci and 20 PAT I have one interview.... if that is enough said

I withdrew from 2 courses and took one of them over (the other one, i took when I didnt have the pre-req for it). One of the schools I spplied to said they don't favor it much but still took me. I guess this goes to say, just apply and be positive.
